Where To Stay...

There are several lovely places to stay in the area. From regular hotels near the highway to comfy bed and breakfasts and private inns. This list will be growing as we research more places, but here are the basics. Our home is about 15 minutes from downtown Indianapolis and about 25 minutes from 465 on the north end of the city.

Our address:

542 Powell Place
Indianapolis, IN 46205

Broad Ripple & Near North Side - very close

  • Indy Hostel - $ - Not your everyday hotel, well, not a hotel at all, but a super cool really close option for ultra basic lodging, not for the luxury minded, but a wonderful option. Think European...

  • Hotel Broad Ripple - $$ - I've not stayed here, but I've driven past this property for years and thought, what a cool location, what a cool set of buildings. I'd stay here in a heartbeat. It's pretty close, and Broad Ripple is fun. Walking distance to coffee shops for the morning, Ice cream for the kids, and all of the great things Broad Ripple is known for.

  • The Villa Inn - $$$ - We have stayed here and it's about as luxury as it gets. Brilliant rooms in a quaint and comfortable part of the near north side. What an adventure, this is a high end bed and breakfast. You will not be dissapointed, there's massages on site!

  • Nestle Inn - $$$- This place looks amazing. I can't imagine how delightful this night sleep will be. This is definitely on our list of places to stay when we visit family in the future. Walk next door for a quick cup of coffe in the morning, have a late lunch at any of the fabulous food places on Mass Ave. Welcome to Indy, this is a great location.

  • Stone Soup Inn - $$$ - Another quaint Bed and Breakfast nearby. I've not seen this one, but wow, it looks like a great time! Offbeat Lodging for an offbeat weekend.

Downtown Indianapolis - pretty darn close

  • LaQuinta Indianapolis - $$ - We've not stayed here but I would in a heartbeat! Budget minded lodging and not far from our house at all. Stop by Sun King Brewery or Easly Winery before heading to the ceremony. They're right on College ave, just a few blocks away from this hotel.

  • Marriott Downtown Indianapolis - $$$ - Built for the Super Bowl in Indianapolis, ask for a room on the east side of this building. The views are spectacular. Standard Marriott experience second to none.

  • Hilton Downtown Indianapolis - $$ - Right in the middle of downtown Indianapolis, you're going to want to stay overnight on Friday so you can have some time to play in Indy. Walk to the circle, or get on a beer bar bike and take a tour. Don't forget to come to our wedding though.

North Indianapolis - not as close, but very easy drive

  • Mariott North - $$$ - I've stayed here before and yes, this is a very nice hotel. In the Keystone At The Crossing shopping center, you will get 5-star accomodations with a relatively easy drive to our wedding.

  • Hampton Inn Castleton - $$ - Castleton Is a great area to stay. This area is used to having overnight guests with several hotels in the area. I lived in this part of Indy when I first moved here. It's a very easy drive down Binford Blvd.

  • Quality Inn - $$ - I've stayed here! Very reasonable rates, right on a big highway exit, and an easy drive down Allisonville Rd to our home. This place is pretty great!

How To Get Here and...

The reception is about a half of a block away from the wedding, so that's super easy to find! Just follow everyone else. We will have very easy signage along the way. Heck you haven't started drinking yet, so we'll make sure you get there.
